Requirements

Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides (active state technician license required in Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida; Illinois requires active state license AND national certification marked as certified on license)
Minimum of 6 months related pharmacy technician experience
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas
Secure room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area (desk, chair)
Own internet provider supporting virtual work environment: direct/hardwired connection to modem/router within 10 feet of computer, minimum 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload (WiFi and satellite not permitted)
Secure and private home workspace free from distractions
Data entry skills
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs
Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications

Responsibilities

Screening orders, specializing in research, review, and entry of prescription overrides
Ensuring patients receive correct prescriptions in a timely manner
Directing questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification
Thinking outside the box and getting creative to solve problems
Performing other pharmacy functions as required to support growth and development
Meeting specified production and quality standards as defined by management
Working in a complex, team-oriented environment from home (with virtual training)
