Preferred Qualifications
Technical school certification or 1–2 years of college coursework
Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with personal computers and Windows-based applications
Responsibilities
Maintain and complete accurate records, including timecards, batch records, and logbooks
Operate assigned equipment such as blenders, dryers, Glatt Granulators, weigh room scales, liquid vessels, moisture analyzers, and pH meters
Clean production equipment and facilities
Set up and disassemble production equipment
Use material handling devices such as electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and hi-lifts
Follow all applicable SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
Maintain proper housekeeping standards and adhere to dress code policies
Apply safe manufacturing practices, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, read and interpret MSDS, and properly use PPE (safety shoes, glasses, respirators, gloves, hearing protection)
Escalate questionable issues appropriately, follow written and verbal instructions accurately, and recognize when to stop processes due to anomalies
Understand production and process flow, proper staging and storage locations for supplies and equipment, and key terminology related to pharmaceutical manufacturing
Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors using appropriate techniques to support teamwork
Perform PC-based tasks, including SAP transactions and BMS activities (e.g., Walk-In Dryers)
Collaborate as part of a team to operate pharmaceutical compounding equipment and perform related tasks, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
