Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and a Master’s degree from a top-tier university is strongly encouraged. Pursuing a CFA or FRM designation is desirable, and relevant experience in performance management/operations, risk management, or the transaction lifecycle of alternative investments is required. Strong analytical and organizational skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively are also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Performance Operations, Senior Associate will analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, monitor and validate portfolio investment results, including attribution and benchmark analysis, and ensure the accuracy of performance returns by coordinating with various teams. This role involves serving as a point of contact for performance-related issues, ensuring timely solutions, facilitating post-issue root cause analysis discussions, identifying potential problems and taking corrective actions as needed, developing and maintaining performance reports using Python and SQL, and recommending and implementing ways to streamline and automate reporting processes. Additionally, the role requires documenting firm processes, performance calculations, and methodologies for internal training.
