Requirements

Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience in an Operations or Finance group, with a CFA or CPA designation being preferred. Strategic thinking, experience in designing and implementing new processes, and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders including operations and technology to automate tasks are essential. Advanced Excel/modelling skills are required, and experience with financial modelling or GIPS performance reporting, as well as in the financial services and/or insurance industries, is preferred. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, organization, a positive attitude, and the ability to be a results-oriented, deadline-driven independent worker in a fast-paced environment are crucial.

Responsibilities

The Vice President will be responsible for calculating performance returns and benchmarks for various Blackstone Credit & Insurance mandates, reconciling return data with external administrators, and disseminating this information to senior executives. They will also assist marketing teams with data aggregation for due diligence questionnaires and requests for proposals to support fundraising. Additional duties include assisting with ad hoc projects and system implementations, compiling and reviewing content for client and marketing reports such as Flash reports, Portfolio Quarterly reports, and investor letters, and calculating customized benchmark returns. A key responsibility involves leading the implementation of proprietary software for generating real-time performance metrics across the BXCI Alternatives platform and presenting quarterly returns and mandate overviews to senior investment team professionals.
