Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in data-driven decision making with proven experience leveraging reporting and data analytics to inform strategic people initiatives. Proficiency with modern workplace tools such as Jira, Slack, Notion, and GSuite is required, along with hands-on experience with the Rippling HRIS platform or similar modern HR platforms. Adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments is essential, and strong candidates may also have experience in strategic compensation and headcount planning, as well as proven HR business partner experience.
The People Ops role involves administering and maintaining the HRIS, managing payroll and benefits through Sequoia and Rippling, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The individual will generate reports and provide analytics support to the finance and executive teams on people-related matters, manage the employee lifecycle to ensure a seamless journey for employees, interns, and contractors, and provide HR business partner support for career development and performance optimization. Additionally, they will act as a point of contact for visa-related inquiries, resolve employee questions regarding reimbursements and benefits, oversee office and facilities management, and actively participate in business discussions to contribute HR insights and maintain compliance documentation.
