Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of progressive experience in an HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Generalist role. Proven experience in process improvement, system implementation, or workflow automation is required, along with expertise in an HRIS such as Workday, including system configuration, data audits, reporting, and troubleshooting. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for leveraging technology, including automation and AI, to improve HR processes is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels are necessary. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred. The applicant must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.

Responsibilities

The People Operations Specialist will proactively identify and propose strategic improvements to HR processes and workflows, focusing on automation and efficiency. They will act as a subject matter expert, resolving complex HR inquiries and escalations in partnership with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include supporting the HR team with new hire onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. The role involves assisting in audits by providing necessary documentation, developing and maintaining the HR Knowledge Base with detailed documentation optimized for self-service, and running regular compliance and audit reports to ensure data accuracy.
