Candidates should have at least two years of experience in a generalist HR function, with tech industry experience strongly preferred and SaaS industry experience being a plus. A solid grasp of core HR processes and compliance basics is required, along with a proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary, as is a bias for action and proficiency with HR tools and systems like UKG and Greenhouse, as well as Google Suite. Familiarity with Excel and experience managing short-term projects with limited oversight are preferred.
The HR Generalist will oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain accurate employee records in Google Drive and UKG, and assist in driving initiatives for employee engagement, recognition, and retention. They will collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Management on various HR processes, partner with People Operations to manage HR systems and ensure data integrity, and monitor HR metrics. Additionally, the role involves supporting payroll and benefits processing, assisting in the maintenance of the Employee Handbook and other policies, researching labor laws for compliance, and coordinating the Leave of Absence process. The Generalist will also coordinate and facilitate company-wide all-hands meetings, manage HR-related communications, and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and engagement initiatives.
