Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or Talent Acquisition, ideally in a tech-focused or fast-growing company
  • Strong knowledge of India compliance and employment laws
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting, ideally in technical roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels in both the U.S. and India
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Proactive, independent, and comfortable wearing multiple hats across recruiting, employee relations, and operations

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for India-based roles, particularly for technical and GTM positions
  • Partner closely with India and U.S. hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and priorities
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines to attract top talent
  • Coordinate offers, background checks, and onboarding while ensuring compliance with Indian employment law
  • Partner in onboarding all new hires in India
  • Act as the internal primary point of contact for India employees on HR policies, performance management, and day-to-day questions
  • Support managers in annual performance reviews, disciplinary processes, and coaching conversations
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives that align with Vultr’s global culture and values
  • Manage offboarding and exit processes while documenting lessons and trends for continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation for India operations
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, gratuity, ESIC, etc.)
  • Support the implementation of India-specific HR policies consistent with global People Operations standards
