Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a People Operations or HR Generalist role with strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and California employment law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to balance empathy with compliance
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
  • Experience with HRIS and analytics (Rippling experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with impeccable attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of employee benefit plans, retirement programs, voluntary elections, and compensation packages
  • Conduct analysis of benefits and compensation programs; assist in program design and strategy
  • Act as a first-line resource for employees on HR-related questions, escalating when appropriate, and provide guidance and ensure compliance with California employment law and federal regulations
  • Assist with leave of absence administration, maintain accurate employee records, and support HR-related audits
  • Partner with the team to manage and optimize HRIS systems (Rippling experience is a plus) to ensure data accuracy
