As a People Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience and supporting our mission to improve healthcare through data-driven insights. Mission

The People Operations Associate is responsible for ensuring a seamless and supportive employee journey from onboarding to offboarding. You will own critical HR processes, serve as a trusted resource for employees, and help drive initiatives that foster engagement, compliance, and operational excellence. Your work will directly impact our ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent in pursuit of Komodo Health’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 verification, background checks, orientation, exit interviews, and final paperwork.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions through the People team’s Jira ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Maintain and update employee records in Workday, including processing job changes (promotions, transfers, compensation adjustments) and auditing data for accuracy.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, employee inquiries, and communication with benefits providers.
  • Support payroll operations by collaborating with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate compensation and deductions.
  • Help develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday) and strong data management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and report on HR data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear, empathetic, and professional interactions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.

Compensation

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of hourly base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training, and certification.
