Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of three years sales experience working with Health Care Professionals (ideal)
  • RD (Registered Dietitian) or RN (Registered Nurse) with sales experience and technical knowledge (ideal)
  • Registered Dietitians, NICU, Labor & Delivery Nurses, and Registered Nurses strongly encouraged (preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs to assist with stocking and movement of pediatric products
  • Local candidate in Orlando and/or surrounding suburbs (relocation not available)

Responsibilities

  • Developing and supporting territory sales goals in both offices and hospital systems covering the Abbott Infant and Pediatric Nutrition portfolio
  • Hospital negotiations and contracting, including experience working with hospital supply chains
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines, and ability to deliver the information in a selling environment
  • New product launches
  • Understanding of the hierarchy of both offices and hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units
  • Ability to work effectively with Physicians, Dietitians, Nurses, and supply chain
  • Effective administrative skills, organizing time
  • Budget management
  • Function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy
  • Be self-motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short and long-term goals
  • Promotion, management, and growth of Abbott Nutritional products in hospital, acute care settings, and health care provider offices
