Responsibilities

  • Client Issue Escalation: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding escalated issues, collaborating with the wider team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Expectation Management: Manage client expectations and set clear expectations with both in-house and partner Payroll Services Teams.
  • Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, partners, and management.
  • Service Reviews: Conduct regular service review meetings with all Payroll Services clients.
  • Meeting Management: Ensure periodic meetings are held, including setting agendas, recording minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Client Satisfaction: Manage the gathering, reporting, and overall management of client satisfaction data.
  • Issue Resolution: Demonstrate strong ownership in issue resolution by thoroughly investigating, sharing knowledge, and communicating clearly with all clients.
  • Relationship Building: Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships within the client community to enhance the client experience.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure timely and accurate service delivery in accordance with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience managing payroll functions.
  • Languages: Chinese or Japanese languages are preferred.
  • Global Payroll: Global payroll experience, particularly in APAC, is a plus.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll.
  • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines accurately and on time.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively connect with clients and align with various stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex issues at an understandable level.
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong proficiency in English.
