Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field, along with 7+ years of payroll experience in a multi-country environment. A strong understanding of European payroll regulations, local tax regimes, social security, and GDPR/privacy requirements is essential, with experience in cross-regional implications being a plus. Familiarity with HR and payroll systems such as Workday and Cloudpay, excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, and a strong grasp of payroll compliance, reviews, and controls are also required.

Responsibilities

The Payroll Manager will lead a team of payroll professionals, overseeing end-to-end payroll operations across 20+ countries in Europe and the Middle East, ensuring compliance with local laws and tax regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing and improving payroll processes, collaborating with HR Operations to support employees, partnering with HR, Finance, and IT for system integration and workflow improvements, and managing relationships with payroll service providers. The role also involves maintaining documentation of policies and procedures, staying current with legislative changes, leading payroll-related audits, and acting as the primary escalation point for payroll issues and inquiries across EMEA.
