  • Experience as subject matter expert in payroll operations, scaling payroll function, implementing systems, and building internal controls

Responsibilities

  • Fully understand and own core processes: payroll processing, 401K contributions, and miscellaneous benefits processing
  • Understand the business and establish relationships across Finance team and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify areas of improvement in bimonthly payroll process and corresponding systems
  • Contribute to department-wide documentation by assisting in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Actively identify and implement procedures to strengthen internal controls environment
  • Own research, resolution, and documentation of all tax compliance matters
