Responsibilities

Fully understand and own core processes: payroll processing, 401K contributions, and miscellaneous benefits processing
Understand the business and establish relationships across Finance team and cross-functional stakeholders
Identify areas of improvement in bimonthly payroll process and corresponding systems
Contribute to department-wide documentation by assisting in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Actively identify and implement procedures to strengthen internal controls environment
Own research, resolution, and documentation of all tax compliance matters
