The Payroll Implementation Manager should have experience in managing payroll implementation projects and data migration. Responsibilities include defining payroll process requirements, setting up systems, and ensuring accurate data transfer. The role requires strong project management skills to create and maintain project plans, manage client relationships, and coordinate with internal and external teams. Experience with GL report mapping and generating reports for payroll data analysis, auditing, and reconciliation is also necessary.
Oversee the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for clients. Lead and manage the full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer, proper system configuration, and a seamless transition. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, guiding clients through setup and migration phases, and offering ongoing support and training. Organize and run kick-off meetings, deliver implementations, and create/maintain project plans for successful client roll-outs. Support project review calls, coordinate project streams, and manage changes to scope or delivery schedules. Define and set up agreed client payroll processes and data requirements, managing client payroll calendars effectively. Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, status reports, and process documentation. Configure interfaces, reports, and systems for parallel and live payroll processing. Work with clients to sign off on projects, documenting client-specific needs and processes. Generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data, including mapping GL reports if required.
