The Payroll Implementation Manager should have experience overseeing the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems. They must be able to lead and manage the full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer, proper system configuration, and a seamless transition. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is essential, as is guiding clients through setup and migration phases and offering ongoing support and training. Experience with project setup, client and project management, defining payroll process requirements, maintaining project documentation, system setup, parallel payroll processing, and go-live transition and sign-off is required. Experience with GL report mapping is also necessary.
The Payroll Implementation Manager will organize and run kick-off meetings and deliver implementations in collaboration with the onboarding team and clients. They will create, maintain, and manage project plans for successful client roll-outs. Responsibilities include supporting project review calls, coordinating and delivering on project streams, and managing changes to the scope of work and delivery schedule. Defining and setting up agreed client payroll processes, establishing payroll and data requirements, and managing client payroll calendars timely and effectively are key duties. They will also define, agree, and configure interfaces, reports, and system configurations for parallel and live payroll, and work with clients to sign off on projects, documenting client-specific needs and processes. Generating reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data is also a responsibility.
