Candidates should possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience, along with a payroll certification or equivalent experience. They must have 3+ years of relevant payroll experience in a diverse, complex operation, and global payroll experience is considered an asset. Strong knowledge of payroll systems, particularly UKG or similar in-house systems, is required, alongside proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables).
The Global Payroll & Benefits Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll for salaried employees globally, assist in the year-end payroll process across all regions, support reconciliation processes and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensure smooth onboarding, offboarding, and changes in payroll, retirement, and benefit systems, update payroll records with changes, respond to employee inquiries about payroll procedures and benefits, assist with general ledger reconciliations and vacation accruals, and stay updated on global tax and regulatory changes.
