Requirements

Candidates should possess a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant payroll experience in a diverse, complex operational environment, including global payroll experience as a plus. A payroll certification is required, or equivalent experience, and proficiency in UKG or similar in-house systems is preferred. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, the ability to multitask, and strong numeracy skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Global Payroll & Benefits Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll for salaried employees globally, assist with the year-end payroll process across all regions, support reconciliation processes and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensure seamless onboarding, offboarding, and management of changes within payroll, retirement, and benefit systems, update payroll records for changes in exemptions, benefit coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and department/division transfers, respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll procedures and benefits, assist with general ledger reconciliations and vacation accruals, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of global tax and regulatory changes.
