Requirements

  • 5+ years in financial partnerships, payments, or fintech with real experience in acquiring, card issuance, or payment infrastructure
  • Experience negotiating deals and securing good terms with payment providers, card schemes, and banks
  • Understanding of how payments work - card issuance, acquiring, OCT processing, BIN sponsorships, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to analyse partnership opportunities and make smart decisions about which ones to prioritise
  • Experience managing relationships across different countries and working with varying regulations
  • Comfortable working independently and taking projects from idea to completion

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic partnership management with acquiring and card network partners, negotiating commercial terms that directly impact unit economics and market competitiveness
  • Research and launch local payment scheme partnerships, focusing on opportunities that drive the most customer adoption and revenue
  • Monitor partnership performance and continuously improve payment infrastructure based on what's working and what isn't
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to turn partnership deals into product features that customers can actually use
