Candidates should possess a high school degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively.
The Patient Account Resolution Specialist will review new and recurring patient accounts, secure necessary documentation from referral sources, and manage relationships with field leadership, referrals, and patients to ensure timely reimbursement. They will also research and evaluate documentation for compliance, perform follow-up to achieve reimbursement, and proactively create a better patient experience by addressing complaints and implementing preventative measures.
