Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience preferably in a Solutions/Sales Engineering (Presales) role in a technology product company (e.g., SAP, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Presales or hands-on experience with Data Warehouse, Data Lake or Lakehouse platform
  • 3-5 years of experience in SAP (ECC, S/4, BW, Datasphere)
  • Ability to pick up or have some experience on newer SAP technologies (like Datasphere & BDC) and demystify complexity for customers and stakeholders
  • Strong experience with one or more of the three major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure & GCP) and their related tools
  • Deep experience and understanding of cloud architectures (one of the three major CSPs like AWS, Azure or GCP) and building out architectures
  • Presales or hands-on experience in designing and building highly scalable solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully working with leading customers and creating technical champions among them
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within APJ throughout the quarter and occasional international travel

Responsibilities

  • Align with Snowflake SAP Partner Leader in APJ to drive Snowflake consumption across different customers
  • Collaborate with customers to align Snowflake solutions with their SAP modernization journey, create assets and demos, build hands-on POCs and pitch Snowflake solutions
  • Engage with partners to develop Snowflake solutions on customer engagements and help Solution Providers/Practice Leads with technical strategies to sell their offerings on Snowflake
  • Keep customers & partners up to date on key Snowflake product updates and future roadmaps to build momentum and create mindshare
  • Run technical enablement programs to provide best practices and solution design workshops to help partners create effective solutions
  • Forward strategic thinking: quickly grasp the essence of new concepts and business value messaging
  • Share customer success stories & case studies to showcase the impact of Snowflake
  • Develop a strong understanding of how partners make revenue through industry priorities & complexities and influence where Snowflake products can have the most impact
  • Provide presentations and conversations with other technologists at the C-level
  • Develop data domain thought leadership within the customer and partner community
  • Provide technical product and deep architectural expertise & latest product capabilities to customers
