Position Overview

Snowflake is seeking a Partner Solution Engineer based in France to join our team and help build the future of the AI Data Cloud. In this role, you will work directly with our consulting and Systems Integrator (SI) partners, enabling them on key platform features and their business benefits. Your primary goal will be to help them grow their Snowflake services business and shape their go-to-market strategies. As a Senior Partner Solution Engineer, you should share our passion for innovation through the AI Data Cloud, thrive in a dynamic environment, and be adaptable and proactive. You will be comfortable interacting with executives and inspiring technical audiences, bridging both business and technical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to decision-makers and technical contributors at partners, prospects, and customers.
• Engage hands-on with partners and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle.
• Build technical champions within our partner network and foster the growth of the local Snowflake technical community.
• Stay immersed in the evolving industry landscape, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and positioning Snowflake effectively.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to drive continuous improvement of Snowflake’s products and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

• 7-8 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a pre-sales environment working directly with consulting and System Integration (SI) partners.
• Outstanding presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and executive audiences, whether through impromptu whiteboard sessions or formal presentations and demonstrations.
• Broad experience across large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL.
• Experience in data science is highly desirable, as is hands-on Python experience.
• Ability to connect specific business problems with Snowflake’s solutions.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Fluency in both French and English is required.
