  • Experience as an Inspector Packer
  • Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance
  • Ability to control operations of equipment or systems
  • Strong active listening skills (give full attention to others and understand points being made)
  • Ability to determine causes of operating errors and implement resolutions
  • Ability to time movements of equipment in anticipation of speed/direction changes
  • Ability to focus on a single sound source amid distractions
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and manufacturing/distribution techniques
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Working knowledge of measurement equipment
  • Regularly stand, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands/arms, and talk/hear
  • Occasionally walk and sit
  • Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure products meet specifications
  • Perform inspections following written quality, stacking, and safety procedures
  • Work with production groups to meet production demands
  • Visually inspect products for defects to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Trim excess material from parts using knives and grind scrap plastic for reuse
  • Ensure quality parts are produced and delivered on time that meet customer specifications
