Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
9+ years of relevant experience
At least 21 years of age
Proof of authorization to work in the United States
Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and observational skills
Sharp focus on accuracy and responsiveness to customer needs
Responsibilities
Provide advanced support and maintenance of all applications/systems, servers, storage, network equipment, and other related software/hardware
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs appropriately
Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including connectivity problems, performance degradation, and security breaches
Act as an escalation point for junior Command Center Team Members and other IT staff
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding systems and network status, incidents, and project progress while leaving a lasting positive impression
Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with protocols. Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. Conduct vulnerability assessments and apply security patches as needed
Ensure network redundancy and disaster recovery
Monitor server performance and maintain the server infrastructure
Mentor and collaborate effectively - Provide technical guidance and training to Command Center Team Members and other IT personnel to share knowledge, brainstorm solutions, and ensure alignment on critical projects
Work closely with the Command Center Operations Manager and assume delegated authority as needed
Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies and best practices
Perform job duties in a safe manner
Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis
