Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and running Global Payments Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals
  • Explaining the value proposition and demonstrating the cloud-based Point of Sale solution
  • Upselling current clients on other Global Payments products and services
  • Maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager
  • Closing sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area
  • Working closely with the local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via network and referral partnerships
  • Running scheduled appointments, uncovering needs, and presenting Global Payments Point of Sale solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses
  • Maintaining existing/prospective client records in the CRM system (Atlas), including call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information
  • Achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure quota
  • Continuously building and developing knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry
  • Attending weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with leader
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
