18 years of age or older
Valid driver's license (requires regular driving to visit client sites)
Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
Works well independently and as part of a team

Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face
Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus

Responsibilities
Prospecting and running presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals within a fast sales cycle
Explaining the value proposition and demonstrating the Payments Platform
Upselling current clients on other Global Payments products and services
Maintaining regular communication with the Core Payments District Manager
Closing sales of business solutions with merchants throughout the area
Working closely with the local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via network and referral partnerships
Running scheduled appointments, uncovering needs, and presenting Global Payments solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses
During training, participating in initial appointments accompanied by the District Manager to learn the short-cycle sales process using CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, on-the-spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing
Prospecting new clients
Maintaining existing/prospective client records in the CRM system (Atlas), including call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in accordance with company policies
Achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first-time appointments, to secure quota
Continuously building and developing knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry
Attending weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with leader
