  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2-3 years of sales experience preferred
  • Experience with field, B2B, cold-calling preferred
  • Based out of the Northern portion of Los Angeles between the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys (territory cities include Santa Clarita, Valencia, Palmdale, Lancaster, Bakersfield)
  • Daily travel within territory
  • 5-10% overnight travel for Regional/National meetings
  • No relocation provided; local candidates only

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by securing commitments for recommendations from Healthcare Professionals in Outpatient offices (e.g., Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Oncology, Wound accounts)
  • Create and maintain relationships within offices (call points: Physicians, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Administration, Nutrition Services) to elevate the importance of nutrition and provide win-win solutions for using Abbott products
  • Hold customers accountable and ensure compliance
  • Execute sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals for Ensure®, Glucerna®, and Juven®
  • Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional/interdisciplinary teams to execute sales direction
  • Identify customer needs and deliver on sales opportunities accordingly
  • Utilize Abbott Nutrition promotional materials to targeted healthcare professionals
  • Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
  • Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities
