Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience
  • 1-2 years of outbound sales experience including prospecting, identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, and articulating product value propositions via phone and email
  • Track record of tenacity, driving results with a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships based on best practices and strategy
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to work with and indirectly manage sales support colleagues
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Expand the top of the funnel by complementing centralized marketing campaigns with personal prospecting efforts
  • Develop relationships and alignment across multiple levels, including C-level executives, influencers, and relevant personas
  • Drive sales execution using BambooHR's sales process to close new logo business
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, build a pipeline to cover bookings targets, and thoroughly document notes and activities in the CRM tool
  • Sell with a customer focus by diagnosing each account's business plan and existing contractual agreements for services
  • Demonstrate product proficiency with working knowledge across BambooHR's service lines
  • Move BDR-sourced opportunities from latent to active need by creating value
  • Set the stage for long-term customer success by providing a clear and smooth handoff to post-sales teams, including future growth opportunities
  • Target accounts and work with BDR to generate enough pipeline to hit quota
  • Cultivate relationships with all pertinent stakeholders within target accounts
  • Maximize sales into new accounts and become part of customers' long-term business solution
  • Identify customer needs and configure appropriate offerings from BambooHR services to meet those needs
