  • Expertise in selling optical products/services: assisting with decisions, measuring/adjusting/repairing frames/lenses, completing eyewear/contact lens orders, verifying prescriptions, handling paperwork, collecting payments, performing/recording optometric pretests

Responsibilities

  • Provide member service in the optical area, including acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting products/services
  • Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing appropriately, securing fragile/high-shrink items
  • Maintain sales floor in optical area per company policies: handle claims/returns, zone area, arrange/organize merchandise, identify shrink/damages
  • Receive/stock merchandise, organize/maintain optical area following procedures, utilize equipment, merchandise, complete paperwork/logs/documentation
  • Operate cash registers/equipment, process member purchases, assist with payments/returns/refunds/exchanges using appropriate procedures
  • Sell optical products/services: assist purchasing decisions, measure/adjust/repair frames/lenses, complete eyewear/contact lens orders, verify prescriptions, handle paperwork/documentation, collect payments for doctor services, perform/record optometric pretests
