Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC
On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
Confident in coaching others
Able to provide excellent customer and patient care

Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced Optics environment
Organised and able to manage your time effectively

Responsibilities

Overseeing and managing the entire operation of the opticians department
Managing the team of Optometrists and Optical assistants
Overseeing compliance processes and procedures
Reviewing sales forecasting and department targets
Dealing with customer queries
Clinic management
Managing the shop floor process to ensure the department is well equipped for customer needs
Working in close partnership with an Optometrist to coach and develop the team
Ensuring the team has everything in place to deliver high quality patient service
