Requirements

  • MBO work and thinking level
  • Possession of VAPRO-A certificate: pharmaceutical craftsman or equivalent level
  • Completion of the Introduction Program at Patheon Softgels B.V. (part of Thermo Fisher Scientific)
  • Basic knowledge of GMP and EH&S, with relevant skills and competencies
  • Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry
  • Willingness to work in shift services (5-shift system)
  • Ability to handle physical demands: lifting and cleaning efforts, working in noise and heat, risk of injury from cleaning agents and moving equipment, various positions (bending, climbing stairs, pushing, repetitive hand movements), wearing protective clothing (shoes, gloves, face masks, beard/hair nets)
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Standards, and Cleanroom protocols (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily departmental plan correctly in accordance with safety regulations, GMP, SOPs/WIs, BMRs, and other quality standards
  • Perform extra IPC-checks in all critical phases of the production process
  • Work in shift services within Gel/Medicine, Encapsulating, or Post Production departments
  • Collaborate with 25-30 other operators in the department
  • Contribute to personal development and continuous improvement of equipment and processes within the department
  • Report to the Production Supervisor
