  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 8+ years in production/repair operations leadership
  • Proven experience managing hourly teams in a manufacturing or repair environment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies
  • Excellent multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees, prepare work schedules, assign tasks, coordinate work flow and projects, oversee completion, and monitor team performance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and process standards, maintain employee morale, and oversee training of new and existing staff
  • Work with manager to establish department and company goals, using experience, judgment, and innovation to achieve them
  • Drive process improvements and coordinate new product introductions
  • Act as liaison between teams, shifts, supervisors, departments, and partner with vendor/customer/client representatives
  • Accomplish supervisory and HR objectives: hiring, performance reviews, mentoring/coaching, disciplinary actions
  • Manage team training matrix for accuracy and compliance
  • Review Tableau reports to ensure team/dept meets performance metrics
  • Drive engagement, foster strong culture, review Peakon scores, create action plans
  • Meet production standards by implementing production, productivity, and quality standards
  • Work with site leadership to resolve problems and identify process improvements
  • Maintain safe/healthy work environment by enforcing standards, procedures, and legal regulations
  • Lead/support cross-functional teams to meet production goals and customer expectations
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and materials teams to optimize workflow and inventory
  • Hire, train, and develop leads and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and service level agreements
