Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, business analysis, CIS or equivalent
5+ years prior experience in the mutual fund industry (previous financial reporting experience with Digital Assets/Alternative products preferred)
5+ years project experience (active participation and/or management)
Experience with Registration Statements (Prospectus, Statement of Additional Information, Summary Prospectus) is a plus
Self-starter with experience learning and adapting to new technology tools and investment vehicles quickly
Ability to work concurrently on a variety of opposing priorities while remaining flexible to a constantly evolving regulatory environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience translating business requirements to technical resources to develop solutions that reduce risk, increase efficiency, and minimize impact
Experience working with product owners to build, prioritize, and maintain product backlog for high customer experience impact
Knowledge of and experience with tools/techniques for crafting, handling, and evaluating business acceptance tests for operational processes and end-users
Experience assessing and detailing business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential solutions
Knowledge and ability to implement strategies ensuring customer needs are addressed in solution design for positive experiences
Ability to analyze business systems/processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address operation/process issues/improvements
Extensive understanding of MS Office
Experience with database query tools (e.g., Microsoft Access, SQL, Power BI, Oracle) preferred
Experience with Confluence's Unity financial reporting software is a plus
Experience with SunGard’s InvestOne and Geneva accounting software and related reporting tools is a plus

Responsibilities

Elicit, define, and document systems requirements for the development team
Act as liaison for the Shareholder Reporting business team to IT systems groups
Provide general application support
Document issues
Represent projects
Manage portfolios
Develop interim business solutions using light automation
Perform sub-roles of business analyst, systems analyst, and project coordinator for the Shareholder Reporting team
Combine in-depth knowledge of accounting and reporting with technical capability and interpersonal skills
