Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing operations environment. Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of approximately 250 employees are essential, along with a demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

As an Operations Manager, you will report to the Plant Manager and lead the shift operations leadership team, providing clear direction to support plant-wide goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will foster a strong safety culture through regular communication, participate in EH&S incident reporting, support continuous improvement projects, develop staffing plans, facilitate onboarding, manage employee time and attendance, maintain inventory accuracy, engage with employees to identify areas for improvement, and manage employee performance and development.
