Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in food manufacturing operations, including both ingredient processing and packaging, along with strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of SAP, GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and other food safety regulations is preferred, as is experience with LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in production planning, inventory control, and process optimization is also required.

Responsibilities

The Operations Lead will oversee the daily operations of both ingredient processing and food packaging departments, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety. They will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), troubleshoot production issues, conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance, provide training, foster a culture of teamwork, oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment, identify opportunities to improve productivity, enforce workplace safety protocols, and conduct risk assessments.
