Candidates should have 1-3 years of professional work experience, with at least 1 year in an Operations position. Experience leading teams is preferred. Demonstrated expertise with the San Francisco, CA region is required, along with grit, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to work in ambiguous environments. High-energy, sound decision-making skills with a cost-focused, data-based approach are essential. Fluent English language skills are necessary. Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets is required, with bonus points for Tableau and SQL knowledge. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a valid in-state driver license with a clean driving record are also necessary. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
The Operations Associate will enhance the fleet, coordinate warehouse and field teams, and understand local rider needs. They will manage vehicles from arrival to ride completion, hire, train, and coach mechanics and fleet support staff, and build a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment. Responsibilities include defining new processes for operational excellence, partnering cross-functionally on expansion opportunities, defining and monitoring KPIs for market performance, providing complaint management and customer incident investigation support, and partnering with Government Relations on legal, regulatory, and safety issues. The role also involves maintaining positive relationships with customers, regulators, employees, and management, and collaborating with Engineering and Product teams for revenue growth initiatives.
