Requirements

  • Prefer one year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience or training
  • Ability to work independently, thoroughly, and in a timely manner while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel such as formatting, page setup, printing, and basic formulas (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Outlook such as sending emails, attaching files to outgoing emails, and opening emails and attachments
  • Ability to take direction on different projects and be self-motivated to accomplish the task
  • Physical demands: Sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and talk and hear 34-66% of the time; stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms 0-33% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Daily review and reconciliation of production job packets
  • Monitor and reconcile raw materials, ingredients, and packaging inventory levels
  • Answer questions and assist in resolving issues related to production transactions, product, and recipe input
  • Process, analyze, and distribute various daily and weekly reports while meeting set deadlines
  • Enter and retrieve data from Ross daily; maintain production databases in Excel
  • Maintain data within Kronos to aid in plant reporting (Overtime lbs. man hour)
  • Work with the scheduler to make necessary adjustments, print, and distribute the daily schedule
  • Assist Supervisors and act as a liaison as needed
  • Spend time in production to better understand the paperwork process
  • Filing, organizing paperwork, and assisting co-workers as needed
