Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT technical experience (system construction, maintenance, or operations management)
  • Experience as a leader or sub-leader in a maintenance/operations team
  • Knowledge and practical experience in project management
  • Ability to proactively plan, coordinate, and execute problem resolution with teams and partner companies
  • Ability to create documents for maintenance/operations teams or customer reports and explain them to customers
  • Basic knowledge and experience with infrastructure (Server, Network, Storage, OS, etc.)
  • Skills and experience with Nutanix and virtualization
  • Desirable (Preferred)
  • Operations skills for mission-critical systems
  • ITIL Foundation certification

Responsibilities

  • Act as sub-leader in the operations team for specific customers, building operations processes and managing team members
  • Take responsibility for the quality and structure of deliverables from the maintenance/operations team, leading stable IT services for customers
  • Serve as the point of contact for customer communication, coordinating and controlling operations team activities for reliable responses
  • During critical/emergency responses, perform escalation management, summarizing responses and handling customer interactions
  • Support system implementation/construction from an operations perspective within the service scope, contributing to ongoing overall optimization of the IT environment
  • Act as a trusted advisor to build and maintain effective customer relationships, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and contributing to customer and HPE business growth
