Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of experience in trade support, middle office, or fund administration within investment banking or equivalent roles in financial institutions; prior experience with hedge funds or fund administrators is advantageous
  • Proficient understanding and experience with equity, fixed income, or derivatives products and comprehensive knowledge of the trade life cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced working with technology teams on system enhancements
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, capable of multitasking, and able to work independently
  • Collaborative team player with strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Python, SQL, VBA is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations including, but not limited to, trade capture, settlements, corporate actions, reconciliations, and exception resolution
  • Manage allocations to counterparts for cash securities, convertible instruments, and other products to facilitate prompt settlements
  • Communicate with sell-side brokers and trading counterparts regarding market updates and address trade-related issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams globally to assist with trade matters pertaining to Asia and EMEA regions
  • Coordinate with Prime Brokers, Custodians, and Fund Administrators to resolve trade discrepancies and respond to inquiries
  • Prepare ad hoc risk and performance reports for Traders and Portfolio Managers
