  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in network and computer systems administration, with focus on cyber and network monitoring operations
  • At least one of the following certifications: CEH, CFR, Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, or CySA+
  • Office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week at customer's site (no relocation offered)
  • Ability to perform shift work to provide continuous 7x24 coverage

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems administration for enterprise Omnissa (Horizon VDI) solutions, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to servers, hardware, applications, and software within the Omnissa environment
  • Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies
  • Oversee daily system operations, evaluate server resource availability, and manage all Omnissa software activities
  • Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining virtual machines and backup configuration procedures
  • Maintain and monitor patch releases, design and implement patch installation strategies, and ensure systems are updated per program standards
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting support, working with end users and technical teams to resolve complex issues
  • Support the creation, updating, and maintenance of images for VDI terminals, including application support and baseline management
  • Ensure VMware backend capacity and stability to support virtual desktops and overall VDI infrastructure
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to best practices for system administration and service support
