Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience (7+ years’ experience)
  • Experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
  • Deep knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
  • Ability to work with and influence stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking with tactical execution and a sense of urgency
  • Experience managing and developing teams

Responsibilities

  • Managing and optimizing the product line asset utilization and inventory levels
  • Leading the asset & inventory management team, including employee training, development, and career progression planning
  • Creating and implementing inventory and asset utilization strategies aligned to OFSE HQ materials management strategies
  • Ensuring OFSE inventory and asset policies and processes are implemented and followed
  • Monitoring levels of SS, global, and aging inventory and working with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
  • Providing updates to inventory and asset utilization projections and creating mitigation plans as needed
  • Monitoring inventory levels to ensure weekly increases or decreases align with business goals for monthly and annual inventory targets
  • Reviewing Slow Moving Inventory (SMI) with regions and involving other functional groups to reduce SMI risk
  • Working with materials planners to create the netted demand plan
  • Developing and implementing stocking strategies for local providers
  • Ensuring compliance with all Inventory & Asset compliance policies, including Inventory verification, Customer Owned, Consigned, and PPE Physical verification
  • Working to phase in new product inventory and develop plans for managing replaced inventory
  • Working across countries and regions to ensure assets are available to meet customer needs
  • Working with the AMO organization to ensure spare parts and asset demands are captured and delivery times align with the business
  • Developing spare parts distribution strategies to support asset repairs
  • Working with material planners to ensure new assets, repaired assets, and spares are captured in the S&OP process
  • Monitoring key reports to ensure aged transactions are addressed and system dates are maintained
  • Actioning any audit findings associated with inventory or assets
