High School Diploma or GED
1–2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or similar industries
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and ability to lead when necessary
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays
Open to giving and receiving feedback
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new applications

Responsibilities

Transport clean linen in covered carts to designated areas
Collect soiled linen from various locations and return it in covered carts
Verify linen quantities for delivery and maintain accurate records
Conduct linen inventory as required
Address and resolve client issues promptly
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client concerns and linen quality
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive support
Uphold quality and safety standards at all times
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
Follow all institutional procedures and Joint Commission standards
Operate equipment and perform related duties as needed
Perform general clerical tasks such as typing and answering phones
Assist with additional duties as assigned
