Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Safety Leading position, along with solid knowledge of chemistry, food science, and their application to the beverage industry, including advanced analytical instruments, statistical process control, method validations, measurement of uncertainty, and data interpretation. A postgraduate qualification in Science (Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or Safety Engineering) is preferred, or relevant work experience may be substituted. Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory, with Spanish being desirable.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Safety Manager will design and develop Safety Goals to achieve BP targets for QSE, lead the development and execution of a safety strategy, review and analyze the effectiveness of the Safety system through tracking of key performance indicators, drive a QSE work-stream team to deliver projects and initiatives, implement new test procedures and equipment, lead the development of protocols for validation of new methods and technologies, continuously monitor regulatory requirements related to Safety, conduct gap analyses to ensure compliance, strategically review and improve Safety function knowledge and skills, and review and monitor new laws and regulations.
