Requirements

Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, and preferred experience includes business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting, specifically in Worker’s Compensation and/or Auto insurance, along with preferred NY IME experience. Strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and efficient time management are essential, alongside computer literacy and typing skills.

Responsibilities

The NY IME Operations Manager will oversee and ensure the overall profitability of the regional operations center by driving revenue growth through excellent customer service, meeting scheduling best practices, and ensuring timely report delivery. They will manage staffing efficiencies, monitor staff performance and capacity, conduct performance evaluations, and handle employee discipline as needed. The role involves client interaction, including physician selection and invoice management, overseeing the deposition process, and coordinating with other support departments. Additionally, the Operations Manager will present regular reports to management, build relationships with key physicians, and manage client visits as requested by the Sales staff, while also planning and organizing daily activities related to production and operations.
