Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), with a Master's or Doctorate in Nursing being preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including recent clinical or teaching experience, is required. Applicants must hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Illinois. Prior teaching experience, especially in an online or remote setting, is preferred, along with a passion for education and the ability to connect with diverse students.
The Nursing Instructor will deliver engaging, student-centered online instruction in Maternity and Pediatrics, focusing on maternal-child health concepts and NCLEX-PN readiness. Responsibilities include creating an inclusive virtual classroom, providing individualized academic support and remediation, and collaborating with faculty and academic leadership to align teaching with program goals and best practices.
