Requirements

Candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday from 2pm-8pm PST. A Master's degree in a psychology-related field or anticipated graduate program completion within 12 months is required, along with one year of experience in a behavioral health setting and one year of experience working with children, youth, or families. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and certification as NBC-HWC, ICF, or NCHEC, plus relevant experience in a behavioral health setting and working with children, youth, or families, is acceptable. Experience with child and family-focused CBT, motivational interviewing, and SMART goal setting is also required. Preferred qualifications include enthusiasm for redefining children's behavioral health, experience in digital health coaching, eagerness to learn evidence-based behavior change approaches, strong communication skills, adaptability to change, comfort with technology, embracing diversity, experience working with groups, and experience working with parents and caregivers.

Responsibilities

Coaches will partner with caregivers, children, and teens to teach coping strategies and reduce challenging behaviors through structured programs and provide ongoing support via chat. They will deliver 1:1 coaching care through video sessions and asynchronous chat, leveraging digital tools and designed programs. Coaches will also support families as a liaison between them and their therapeutic and psychiatric care providers. Additionally, coaches will help members navigate app content and triage into different services when ready, and collaborate to develop and deliver educational content through workshops and group classes.
