Requirements

Experienced people leader to oversee a team of Trust and Safety frontline agents
Ability to be physically present in the corporate Tempe office (must live within a commutable 50 miles)
Availability for overnight/night shift (exact schedule TBD)
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Policy, Strategy & Ops, Support, Analytics, M-Team)
Empathy and ethical judgement for handling sensitive, complex user-facing incidents
Ability to set OKRs, develop strategy, and build processes

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 8-10 entry-level, hourly Trust and Safety representatives
Establish, assess, and exceed KPIs among the team
Manage responses to highly sensitive and complex safety incidents directly or through delegation
Partner with Legal, Public Affairs, Public Policy, and others to respond to safety incidents empathetically and effectively
Drive employee engagement and development, including coaching the team and conducting management sync sessions
Build a highly motivated team focused on task success
Build business cases and advocate for product and process improvements based on user feedback (e.g., tools, features, closing loopholes, mitigating risk)
De-escalate sensitive safety situations and situations where community standards aren’t upheld with empathy and action-oriented support
Identify areas in policies/processes needing clarity and collaborate to improve product or positioning on issues
Correspond with external business partners
Foster team collaboration, employee development, and problem-solving
Facilitate in-person 1:1 meetings, connect with cross-functional partners, and nurture a collaborative team environment
