Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum of 12–15 years' experience in New Product Introduction, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Program Management or other related function, combined with leadership or management responsibilities
Proven track record of leading multiple, concurrent programs
Proficient in EACs/Risk/Opportunity Management/Gate Review processes
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
Strong knowledge of Project Management methods, tools, and processes
Ability to interface effectively with internal teams as well as government and commercial customers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and strategic thinking ability
Leadership skills
Strong work ethic, honesty, trustworthiness, and high integrity
Ability to use influence without authority in a matrix organizational structure
Understanding of partnering between Program Management and Operations/Manufacturing
Exceptional ability to build relationships; data-driven and willing to take action; enthusiastic and motivated; detailed while managing several work-streams
Ability to travel within the Continental U.S. up to 25%

Responsibilities

Support or lead in the development of NPI program planning and estimating for complex programs
Manage all aspects of planning multiple NPI program plans
Ensure site factories/Functional Operations organizations are adequately executing efforts to meet program objectives
Develop successful operations strategy for larger scope programs, varying in complexity, planning, support, and execution of critical new products integrating into production environment
Oversee operational tasking, deliverables, budget, and schedule associated with manufacturing readiness and manufacturing maturation
Ensure a smooth transition from development into operations
Monitor data across multiple NPI programs, establishing correlation, and publish data to support improvements in product development and customer relations
Responsible for both internal and external NPI performance objectives, including cost, schedule, technical, and performance
Responsible for product operations strategies, business cases, and NPI execution related to product portfolio management
Support the rollout, standardizing, and continuous improvement of NPI processes, plans, metrics, built into the product development and launch framework
Lead program meetings and program reviews with the customer and executive staff
Lead and support complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate activities of other personnel
Act as mentor to other NPI Managers
Other duties as assigned
