Chamberlain Group is a global leader in access solutions with top brands, such as LiftMaster and Chamberlain, found in millions of homes, businesses, and communities worldwide. This role is within Chamberlain Group’s Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to:

  • Drive new business acquisition in the Commercial Business Unit, focusing on either Perimeter (PAS) or Commercial (CAS) products.
  • Understand the respective product line inside and out and be able to communicate that effectively to customers, prospects, and industry influencers alike.
  • Represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows.
  • Track prospects in a sales pipeline.
  • Provide leadership and strategy direction to all of the commercial sales teams across regions on a “dotted line” reporting structure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience or relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry-specific experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial access control systems (CAS and PAS).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, prospects, and industry influencers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and create a pipeline of prospects and track to closure, providing reporting at each step of the journey on CRM.
  • Provide leadership to all of the sales team across the regions on strategy for the respective product lines, CAS or PAS.
  • Build a market-specific strategy to drive share growth for LiftMaster and MyQ Community in the Multi-Family Access Control market.
  • Create and conduct presentations to channel partners, end-users, and internal leadership.
  • Represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows.
  • Track and record activity on accounts in the CRM.
  • Generate and follow-up on leads to fulfill the sales pipeline; determine best approach to close sales.
  • Utilize CAS and PAS product knowledge and expertise in the LiftMaster and Chamberlain portfolio to expand competitive market positioning.
  • Regularly train and mentor others utilizing this expertise.
  • Lead and oversee projects in partnership with key dealers and integrators.
  • Generate sales of LiftMaster CAS and PAS products to end users.
  • Conduct projects and programs to generate sales of LiftMaster CAS and PAS products to end users.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reading publications.
