Requirements

  • Office presence minimum 5 days per week at customer's site in Little Rock, AR (no relocation offered)
  • Experience providing onsite and remote Tier 2 support for hardware, software, applications, network diagnostics, cloud, and other IT services
  • Ability to work independently and/or under immediate supervision following instructions and pre-established guidelines, with creativity and latitude
  • Experience as LAN administrator supporting installation, configuration, and maintenance of network communication devices, servers, network storage arrays, and tape backup units
  • Support for network attached devices (computers, printers, fax machines, biometric devices, electrocardiograms, x-ray machines, smart displays, sensors)
  • Support for mobile and wireless devices (smartphones, tablets, hotspots)
  • Experience testing, applying, and maintaining server configurations and security patches
  • Ability to maintain and check health of systems and backups, including restore testing
  • Proficiency monitoring ITSM (ServiceNow) assignment groups, troubleshooting, and updating tickets per documentation templates/guidelines
  • Ability to provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports
  • Experience with inventory support and input into inventory systems
  • Experience installing and maintaining video teleconferencing infrastructure
  • Participation in pre-scheduled after-hours on-call rotation and support for special projects/events
  • Experience with new equipment deployments and cabling support in data centers, LAN rooms, and remote wiring closets
  • Ability to analyze functional business requirements and design specifications
  • Experience contributing to technical discussions, developing/presenting briefing materials
  • Skills in identifying/fixing problems in existing systems, designing/implementing new systems, enhancing systems, and participating in analysis/design/construction of next-generation IT systems
  • Understanding of customer needs, commercially available IT products, and creating requirements for architecture/engineering teams using COTS products
  • Experience in system engineering areas including telecommunications concepts, computer languages, operating systems, database/DBMS, and middleware
  • Required Clearance: Public Trust

Responsibilities

  • Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration, and maintenance of network communication devices, servers, network storage arrays, and tape backup units
  • Provide support for network attached devices such as computers, printers, fax machines, biometric devices, electrocardiograms, x-ray machines, smart displays, and sensors
  • Provide support for mobile and wireless devices including smartphones, tablets, and hotspots
  • Assist in testing, applying, and maintaining server configurations and related security patches
  • Assist in maintaining and checking the health of systems and backups, including restore testing
  • Monitor ITSM (ServiceNow) assignment groups and apply troubleshooting to resolve tickets
  • Update tickets following documentation templates and/or guidelines to meet quality requirements
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports describing activities accomplished
  • Provide inventory support and input to the provided inventory system
  • Install and maintain video teleconferencing infrastructure and assist with user requests
  • Participate in pre-scheduled after-hours support via weekly on-call rotation and/or as team member for special projects/events
